Offshore Drilling Course
The British Academy for Training and Development offers a course in Offshore Drilling, which deals with several topics such as the stages and operations of offshore drilling and the methods used in the drilling of gas or oil wells. An oil rig or an offshore platform, or what is colloquially called an oil drilling rig, is a large well-drilling structure, equipped with facilities used to extract and process oil and natural gas, and is used for temporary storage of products until they are transported to the coast to undergo the refining and marketing process. In many models, the platform also includes accommodation facilities for workers.
